How do I get my horse into a Sale?
Simple. Use the enclosed Entry form
- Read the consignment contract carefully. If you have any questions, please contact us.
- Fill out the form completely and neatly. Including...
- Your name, address and phone numbers
- The current owner's name, address and phone numbers (if different from consignor)
- Horse's name, breed, registration #, year foaled, color and sex
- Complete the owner's statement, (a written sales pitch), as you would like it to appear in the catalog
Return the completed consignment form with the original registration certificate, signed transfer and applicable breeder's certificate to us. Approved Payment Methods - Cash, Cashiers Check, Money Order or Travelers Checks.
- We catalog all breeds for the Friday evening session including paints and quarter horses - starting at 6pm. Paints and Quarter Horses are cataloged in the traditional session on Saturday, starting at 8am. If you are unable to get your horse in the catalog, we have open consignment for grade and registered horse on Sunday. We start accepting horses at 12 noon on Thursday prior to the sale.

- If you have a professional quality photo of your horse we may use it in a promotional brochure and/or in some advertising. Just send it in with your consignment form, along with an additional $50 for printing.

- ALL Checks for sale proceeds are MAILED from our office within 7 days after the sale, IF all paper work is in order.

- The ORIGINAL Negative Coggins Report dated within six (06) months prior sale date.
- A Current Health Certificate dated within 30 days prior sale date, if from out of State.

What do I need to bring to the sale?
- Buckets, grooming equipment, a nice halter to show your horse in, tools to clean your stall and stall area, saddle and bridle if your horse will ride, materials to hang buckets and stall decorations.

Should I ride my horse at the sale?
- ABSOLUTELY! If your horse is broke, You as the owner know your horse the best - if you would rather not, there are people available for hire at a cost of $10 to $25

Can I ride my horse in the sale ring?
- Yes. We recommend riding trained or started horses in the sale ring. The rider should wear appropriate CLOTHING.
- You will be responsible for getting your horse to the Auction Ring and taking it back to the stall.

What if my horse gets sick or hurt and can not come to the sale?
- We require a Vet Slip and pictures or Video, the horse will then be reconsigned to the next sale.

What happens if I sell my horse before the sale and do not bring it?
OR I do not bring it for any reason other than a veterinary excuse?
- There is a substantial withdrawal fee of $1000 for doing this once your horse has been accepted for the sale. If you sell your horse beforehand, or do not bring it for any reason other than a veterinary excuse, you will owe the consignment fee of $65 plus the withdrawal fee.

What can I do to help get the most money for my horse?
- Treat the sale like a major show with a lot of judges. These judges will reward you with money by bidding on your horse.
- Be sure that your horse is fit and in good condition, is clipped properly, its feet are in good condition and the horse is clean.
- Be sure that your horse is clean and ready to show EARLY on sale day. You should be clean and wear nice clothes on sale day.
- Stay by your stall to be sure you can help any potential customers and keep your stall area neat. Be pleasant and helpful.
- Stall displays and decorations will draw attention to your horse. (Signs, pictures, scrapbooks, and other information on your farm, stallion etc.)

What do I do if I decide not to sell my horse for the price bid?
- You as the seller have the right to "NO SALE" your animal if you feel that you need more money. Be reminded that your fees are the same as if you sell.
- If you DO NOT SELL YOUR HORSE in the sale ring and are approached by a buyer afterwards, bring the buyer to the sale office. We will handle the transaction.

What does the auction company do?
- We promote your horse to thousands of potential buyers through advertising and direct mail
- We provide a quality marketplace to present your horses to prospective buyers
- We supply roping cattle, barrels, cutting cattle, wash rack, hay and bedding.
- We provide printed material to help you understand and make best use of the Auction process
- We handle the money and paper work in the transaction
- We help if any questions arise between the buyer and seller concerning the sale of the horse.
